The fonds includes records pertaining to Brother Vandermoor’s religious life including transcribed prayers and prayer cards as well as a spiritual notebook. Receipts and correspondence, particularly with the residential school in Spanish, Ontario, as well as vehicle motor repair certifications and correspondence about the mechanics class Brother Vandermoor oversaw at Spanish are also included in the fonds.
Vandermoor, NicholasThe fonds documents the activities of the St. Regis Mission in Ahkwesáhsne, and the relations and encounters of Jesuit priests with Kanien’kehá:ka people in the region. It contains records created, collected, and accumulated by the Jesuits in Ahkwesáhsne. The records include correspondence, books and manuscripts, pamphlets and booklets, dictionaries and lexicons, financial documents, newspaper clippings, and bulletins and records on the St. Regis church and community life. It includes photographs of Jesuit priests involved in the community and photographs of the St. Regis church. The fonds also includes Kanien’kehá:ka family photographs. The records range from 1806 to 1984.

The collection includes biographical information written about Ernest Comte, S.J. in the 1920s, as well as his catalogue page and memorial cards. It also includes original copies of his own writings about his time at Killarney, many correspondences produced by him, an original sermon he authored, accounts of his missions, and transcribed excerpts from several additional letters he wrote. The collection also contains several photograph portraits of Father Comte as well as one negative.
The collection contains a Jesuit Brothers’ Supplementary Bulletin with information pertaining to his religious career. The collection includes both original letters and some photocopies of letters written by and to Brother Jennesseaux from the 1860s to 1880s, to Collège Saint-Marie in Montreal, Guelph, Ontario, and Manitoulin Island, both in French and English.
Jennesseaux, JosephThe collection contains records that attest to his religious life, including a souvenir photo card from his first mass and ordination, birth and baptism records, and memorial cards. A number of photographs can be found in the collection which depict a pow wow in Spanish, Ontario in the 1930s along with other images of Father Dwyer with Fathers and Brothers at Spanish, mostly taken in the 1920s. The collection also contains correspondence from the 1930s to 1940s, most of which is between Father Dwyer and the Provincial and concerns missions at Spanish, Wikwemikong, Garden River, and Sault Ste-Marie.
Dwyer, TimothyThe collection contains biographical records relating to John Joseph Barker, S.J. including his certificate of vows, as well as newspaper clippings pertaining to Father Barker and a transcription of a taped interview with him.
Barker, JosephThe collection contains photocopies of biographical information pertaining to Joseph Patrick Jordan, S.J., including his card catalogue entries, lists highlighting key dates in Father Jordan’s career, and a photocopy of his obituary. A number of Father Jordan’s personal records can also be found in the collection, including his baptism certificate, a Latin letter confirming his ordination, his passport application documents, and his certificate of Canadian citizenship. It also contains information pertaining to Father Jordan’s death, including photocopies of burial and cemetery information, his death certificate, and memorial cards.
Several photograph portraits of Father Jordan and his peers from his school days can also be found in the collection, as well as correspondence from Father Jordan to the Provincial and to the Dioceses of San Diego and Los Angeles and the Province of California, mostly from the 1970s and pertaining to his various California assignments.

The fonds mainly includes information detailing the history, activities, and development of the Church of Our Lady, the Catholic communities in Guelph, and the Jesuits who worked there. It contains correspondence, unpublished essays, newspaper clippings, cemetery records, publications, architectural plans, pamphlets, postcards, and photographs.
